CASE STUDY
Special trolley 111 SEY-Z in the TAP Pipeline project, 2019
For the construction of a microtunnel in southern Italy, we designed and built a special trolley towed by a remote-controlled electric transporter, used for moving materials inside the pipes.
Our client is a construction company that needed to set up internal infrastructure within the microtunnel, built with varying diameters starting from 2000 mm, and transport materials such as electrical cables and air pipes. The microtunnel, located in a particularly humid and salty environment, had sections with significant slopes.
For this project, we created a hot-dip galvanized trailer trolley equipped with large-diameter disc brakes and tilted wheels to ensure contact with the tubular surface. This product ensures high efficiency and maximum safety throughout the entire process.
