SERVICE BRAKE
A convoy of one or more trailer trolleys must be towed by a suitable tractor, both in terms of towing capacity and the ability to manage the braking of the entire convoy.
- The presence of ramps or particularly problematic paths make it useful to adopt our hydraulic overrun service brake system.
- This system does not require any particular device on the tractor, except for the normal rear towing hook. The telescopic movement of the drawbar eye activates a hydraulic pump, which in turn transmits the force to a drum brake system applied to the wheels.
- The system guarantees an effective, progressive braking action that is directly proportional to the mass of the transported load
