Officine Bertoli was founded in 1925 to service the few motorised vehicles then in circulation.

In 1930, Bertoli invented a new means of transport, now known as the delivery tricar, that was destined to play a determining role in the motorization of Italian craft, commercial and industrial enterprise.

But although the company registered numerous mechanical patents, Betoli’s interests were not only limited to that field. The company also diversified into the production of special blends of rubber.

This development sprung from the impossibility of finding adequate materials on the market.

After the war, the company concentrated on the design and construction of transport units for the railways.

The widespread use of Bertoli trolleys in Italy (every railway station has them), coupled with their excellent features of smooth running, strength and reliability, brought success to this company.

The opportunity to work for leading national clients, both public and private, has inspired the continuous improvement of Bertoli’s products.

Always seeking the most advanced solutions, the company then applies these to the entire production range, putting them at the disposal of even the smallest companies.
